“Returns proved disappointing with lamb prices reduced by €6 to €10 per head and, in cases, up to €14 per head compared to last week’s sale.”

“40 to 50-kilo lambs averaged €125 still ahead of 2020 returns which were €114.20. The 50 to 60-kilo lamb averaged €132.35 compared to €122 per head in 2020.”

“The one bright spot in the sale was the cull ewe trade, which returned an average of €145 compared to €101 on the same sale last year.”
