Last week’s cattle prices

According to George Candler, over 650 entries went under the hammer at Kilkenny Mart on Thursday, August 26th, 2021.

The mart’s auctioneer reported a “sharper trade all round” for a smaller sale of cattle with more customers, ringside and online.

“The ploy by factories to pull prices last week did not materialise due mainly to the fact that numbers are far from plentiful.” Read this report in full.
