Kildare land for sale for €10,000/acre
A selling agent is seeking €10,000/ac for “top-quality” land in Co Kildare.
JP & M Doyle has placed an AMV (Advised Minimum Value) of €750,000 on land, spread across three divisions in Glenmore, Ballymore, Eustace, Co Kildare.
The property will come under the hammer by means of a public auction at Lawlors’ Hotel Naas, Co. Kildare, on Thursday, May 12th, 2022, at 3 pm.
The firm is offering the property, which is in a “sought well -after” area, for sale in one or more lots:
- 1 c. 18-acres – Guide price: €200,000;
- 2 c. 14.8-acres – Guide price: €150,000;
- 3: c. 42-acres – Guide price: €400,000
- Entire: c. 75-acres – Guide price: €750,000.
According to a spokesperson for JP & M Doyle, lot one extends to c. 18 acres & has the ruins of old stone buildings on the roadside. The land itself has a “gentle roll” and boasts views over Kildare and its surrounding counties.
Meanwhile, lot two extends to c. 14.8 acres, which also has a light fall offering “great” drainage & has “fantastic” views over the surrounding countryside.
The boundaries are “populated” with great mature trees standing proud over the lands. Furthermore, lot 3 extends to c. 42-acres and is split into 6 “good size” divisions in the townland of Elverstown.
According to the property firm, each of the aforementioned lots has “good” road frontage & access.
Location
The firm noted that it is renowned for its farmland but, in particular, the breeding of thoroughbred racehorses.
Many of the county’s “top” sale rings, racecourses, and stud farms are within easy commute. Punchestown Racecourse is 6km away, while Naas Racecourse is circa 10km from the property.
The lands are “ideally situated” close to the Villages of Ballymore Eustace (c. 4.5km), Blessington (c. 3.3km) and Naas (c.9km) on the Kildare / Wicklow border.
