Kanturk Mart report – cattle prices – 29-06-2021
According to a spokesperson, some 475 entries – including 85 calves – were on offer at Kanturk Mart on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021.
Speaking following the sale, the spokesperson said:
“All types of cattle were making extraordinary prices from both online and ringside customers with huge demand for same.”

Cull cow prices:
- SA – 730kg – €1380;
- FR – 595kg – €1250;
- FR – 655kg – €1210;
- FR – 495kg – €660;

Heifer prices:
- CH – 615kg – €1360;

- HE – 600kg – €1300;

According to a spokesperson, some 420 entries – including 100 calves – went under the hammer at Kanturk Mart on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021.
Speaking following the sale, the spokesperson said:
“A very strong trade with animals making great prices. We also had some disappointed customers as there were not enough cattle to meet the high demand.”
Dry cow prices:
- AA – 725kg – €1200;
- FR – 690kg – €1140;
- HE – 580kg – €690.
Bullock prices:
- AA – 905kg – €2140;
- HE – 505kg – €1050;
- AA – 620kg – €1500;
