Kanturk Mart – cattle prices – 06-07-2021

According to a spokesperson, some 560 entries – including 130 calves – went under the hammer at Kanturk Mart on Tuesday, July 6^th, 2021.

Speaking following the sale, the spokesperson said:

“A big sale for the time of year. Plenty of buyers looking for cattle after the improvement in grass growth.”

A spokesperson reported that some 475 lots – including 85 calves – were on offer on Tuesday, June 29t^h.

“All types of cattle were making extraordinary prices from both online & ringside customers with huge demand for same.”
