The Irish Shows Association (ISA) has released details of over 100 events that will take place in Ireland across 2022.

The ISA is the officially recognised body representing Irish shows on the island of Ireland.

More than 130 affiliated agricultural shows run throughout the summer and into the autumn every year.

For the purpose of the article, we have compiled a list of ag shows that will take place in June 2022.

• Ballymoney Show: Friday, June 3^rd and Saturday, June 4^th, 2022;
• Ballyconneely Performance Pony Show: Saturday, June 4^th, 2022;
• Belgooly and District Agricultural Show: Saturday, June 4^th, 2022;
• Lurgan Show: Saturday, June 4^th, 2022;
• Ennistymon – North West Clare Show: Sunday, June 5^th, 2022;
• Westport Horse and Pony Show: Sunday, June 5^th and Monday, June 6^th, 2022;
• Leap Horse and Pony Show: Monday, June 6^th, 2022;
• Armagh Show: Saturday, June 11^th, 2022;
• Ballinvor Horse Show: Saturday, June 11^th and Sunday, June 12^th, 2022;
• Ballinalee Connemara Pony Show: Sunday, June 12^th, 2022;
• Claregalway Agricultural Show: Sunday, June 12^th, 2022;
• Clonakilty Agricultural Show: Sunday, June 12^th, 2022;
• County Lough Agricultural Show (Dundalk): Sunday, June 12^th, 2022;
• Finn Valley Agricultural Show: Saturday, June 18^th, 2022;
• Gorey Agricultural Show: Saturday, June 18^th, 2022;
• Saintfield Show: Saturday, June 18^th, 2022;
• Cork Summer Show: Saturday, June 18^th– Sunday, June 19^th, 2022;
• Athlone Agricultural Show: Sunday, June 19^th, 2022;
• Charleville Agricultural Show: Saturday, June 25^th, 2022-Sunday, June 26^th;
• Newry Show: Saturday, June 25^th, 2022;
• Ballyfoyle Agricultural Show: Sunday, June 26^th, 2022;
• Corrandulla Agricultural Show: Sunday, June 26^th, 2022;
• Glencar Show: Sunday, June 26^th, 2022;
• Enniskillen Horse and Pony Show: Sunday, June 26^th, 2022.

Ag shows in NI

Meanwhile, the Northern Ireland Shows Association has confirmed the dates of thirteen agricultural shows that will take place in 2022.

According to the body, Killyleagh and Newry agricultural shows will not occur this year.

Show season will kick off in mid-May in Northern Ireland, with the calendar set to draw to a close in early December.
