The HSA is reminding farmers that it takes just 1 second to lose your life in a livestock attack.
Figures from the HSA show that 1 in 10 farm deaths are due to livestock.
Advice:
- In the event of a livestock attack, call 112 or 999 immediately;
- Give your Eircode and follow advice;
- Isolate livestock;
- Check it is safe to enter.
