‘It’s a miracle no one was hurt’

A male is in custody for a range of offences after he failed to stop for police.

The motorist drove his vehicle into Glen Park in Northern Ireland last Friday (April 25th).

In a post on social media, a spokesperson for Police Antrim & Newtownabbey, said: “Can anyone see the car? Can you tell where it is?”

“This is where one chap miraculously ended up after failing to stop for police. It’s quite incredible that no one was hurt, and one male is in custody for a string of offences.”

“Were you in the area of Glenville Road/Park or the Shore Road around 11pm?”

“Did you witness a black Vauxhall Corsa in the area? We know there were pedestrians and dog walkers, so if you did happen to come across this vehicle, please give us a call on 101 quoting reference number 2293 of 25/4/20.”

“We would be keen to hear from you. We need to take and keep these dangerous drivers off our roads. Looking at the photo again, it’s a miracle no one was hurt, especially any innocent bystanders.”
