The lands are located 2km from Moyne, 3km from Knockananna, 10km from Aughrim and 8km from Tinahely.

Furthermore, it also offers an array of outdoor activities with equestrian and agricultural interests predominate in the area.

Suitable for grazing or forestry

According to the selling agent, the lands have no road frontage and can be accessed over a hard-core shared laneway about 500 meters off the public road.

“They are divided into two divisions, are currently in grass and can be described as good upland grazing land.”

“The lands are well fenced, have a natural water supply and a small ruin of a former dwelling on them. They are ideally suited for grazing or forestry production.”

40-acres for €265,000 in Galway

APP Kirrane Auctioneering, has for sale, 40-acres of “good quality” land at Lecarrow on the outskirts of Craughwell in County Galway.

The land is on the main Loughrea road, two kilometres from Craughwell village in the heart of ‘Blazer’s Country’. It is directly opposite the signpost for the townland of Colesgrove.

Besides, the property is also convenient to Athenry and Loughrea.

“A farm road and a stream run through the land. There is substantial road frontage, which would facilitate the construction of a house and farm buildings subject to the appropriate planning approval.”

“This represents an exciting opportunity for a young farmer to acquire their own herd number and avail of all the incentives to develop their own farming enterprise.”
