• Bullocks went under the hammer from €1.47 to €3.12 per kg or €125 to €1045 over the kg at Headford Mart on 11-09-2021. Top price over the kg – a LMX – 665kg – €1710- €2.57/kg (lot 18A). Top price per kg – a LMX – 385kg – €1200 – €3.12/kg, (lot 20J).
• Heifers climbed from €1.90 to €2.68 per kg or €295 to €735 over the kg. Top price over kg – a CH – 445kg – €1180 – €2.65/kg (lot 32J). Top price per kg – a CHX – 410kg – €1100 – €2.68/kg (lot 32T).
• Cull cows pushed from €960 to €1730 for a 7-year-old HEX, 960kg (lot 50D).
• In-calf heifers/entries with calf at foot made from €1000 to €1640 (lot 53A) for a 7-year-old LMX cow in-calf to a pedigree CH bull with a Charolais-cross bull calf at foot
