There was a great trade for quality cattle at Mohill Mart’s online cattle sale on Saturday (June 6th), according to a mart spokesperson.
On the day, dry cows fetched up to €1580/head while heifers earned up to €1400. Meanwhile, bullocks and weanling bulls reached €1270 and €1130 respectively.
Dry cows:
- CH – 800kg – €1580;
- LM – 630kg – €1385;
- CH – 700kg – €1420.
Weanling bulls:
- LM – 380kg – €1130;
- CH – 400kg – €1090;
- CH – 350kg – €945.
Weanling heifers:
- CH – 350kg – €920;
- LM – 280kg – €815;
- AA – 275kg – €780.
Heifers:
