GoFundMe campaign created to save pedigree cattle herd

A GoFundMe campaign has been created to support David and Sue Knight who have “spent a lifetime building their herd of pedigree cattle”.

The couple own the prize-winning Doncombe Blonde herd which is based in Bristol in the UK and consists of 220 cattle.

In a post on a GoFundMe page, Seb Cavilla explained: “Their 15-year farm tenancy is ending on March 30th, 2020, and due to their ages and lack of financial backing, they have nowhere to go and the outlook is very bleak.”

“Please please give whatever you can to help my parents pay for a kit to build a shed that will enable them to save 25 of their beautiful animals, on the small patch of land they started out from 30 years ago.” the post added.
