Gardaí in Co. Tipperary recently stopped a tractor transporting a load of bales.
A community policing unit in Cahir stopped the driver for having an unsecured load on the trailer.
A spokesperson for the Gardaí issued a statement on the An Garda Síochána Facebook page, stating the dangers involved in carrying an unsecured load.
“Drivers hauling bales, please ensure that they are tightly secured. In the event of having to brake in an emergency, the consequences could be tragic.”
