A Road Policing Unit recently stopped a vehicle in Co. Laois.
On inspection, the Gardaí at the scene discovered that vehicle had not been tested in 21 months.
A spokesperson for the Garda Síochána Laois Offaly Facebook page said they also discovered that one of the tyres had the canvas and wire protruding through inside wall. “A blowout waiting to happen,” they remarked.
Concluding the post, they reminded road users to check tyres regularly.
