O’Donnellan & Joyce is seeking €40,000 for a pub for sale in Dunmore, Tuam, Co. Galway.

It will offer the “substantial” detached former licenced premises in Garrafrauns for sale through a live stream auction later this month.

According to the selling agent, Siobhra Hennessy, the firm’s clients are selling the property within the 5-year time limit to revive the licence. It will be a matter for the purchasers to revive the licence themselves.

The selling agent continued: “Garrafrauns is a quiet picturesque village on the road from Dunmore to Ballindine.”

“Nestled in the centre of the village, our subject property lies at a crossroad opposite St. Patrick’s Church.”

The village also consists of a primary school, garage and a multiple-use community centre.

Furthermore, Garrafrauns is 4 miles from Dunmore along the R328 road. Neighbouring towns and villages are Cloonfad (5 miles), Irishtown (3 miles), Milltown (5 miles), and Tuam (9 miles).

Lastly, Knock International Airport is just a 40-minute drive away, and Galway City Centre is 55 minutes.

The live stream auction will take place at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021.

30ac ‘neat and tidy’ fattening farm with AMV of €250k

New to the market with an AMV (Advised Minimum Value) of €250,000, is a circa 30ac non-residential farm in Co Westmeath.

Murtagh Bros will offer the farm in Painstown, Rathconrath, Mullingar, for sale by means of an online auction, in conjunction with LSL Auctions, on Thursday, October 21st, 2021.

Dillon Murtagh of Murtagh Bros has described this as a “well presented neat and tidy farm” with “excellent” quality land.

Commenting on the listing ahead of the online auction, the property auctioneer said:

“This is an outstanding non-residential agricultural farm extending to circa 30-acres of good quality pastureland in one or more lots with excellent road frontage.”

The firm will offer the property for sale in the following lots at 3 pm on auction day:

  • 1: Circa 23-acres of “excellent” quality land, cattle crush & “excellent” road frontage;
  • 2: Circa 7-acres of “excellent” quality land, renowned for its fattening abilities, according to the selling agent.

All bidders must register with Murtagh Bros on or before Friday, October 15th, 2021, with a deposit of €25,000.
