Commenting on the property, the sole selling agent said:

“The land itself is inscribed with history with a medieval stone pathway and a Neolithic field system up to 12,0000-years-old, running along the shore of the lake that lies to the front of the house as well as a Megalithic tomb just past Lough Auna.”

“This is a very unique opportunity to purchase such a large holding in the Connemara Region. The property runs adjacent to Connemara National Park, a section of a lake.”

“The land would be ideal for farming, forestry, ponies. There is also potential for a profitable business venture.”

The holding in the Atticlough / Shanakeever Valley, is bordered by the Letternoosh River, with direct access onto Glenbrickeen Lough & Shankeever Lough.

These are “excellent” facilities in the area, with the holding 3km from Clifden town centre.

The selling agent brands this as a “very unique opportunity to purchase such a large holding in the Connemara region”.

4-bed detached house on 1-acre

Furthermore, there is also a dwelling house on 1-acre available to purchase by separate negotiation.

The 4-bed detached property, constructed in 2004, sits on the outskirts of Clifden.

It consists of an entrance hall, living room, sitting, kitchen/dining room, utility, four large bedrooms (2 en-suite) and a family bathroom.

Also, the upstairs is a large open area that is suitable for conversion SPP.

Besides, there is a large detached building that extends to c. 850 sq.ft.

“This is currently laid out into various rooms and is suited for a lot of uses.”

“The mythical and famed beauty of the Twelve Bens and Connemara landscape lies at the doorstep of this property, with completely untouched views as far as the eye can see, making it the perfect setting for a BBQ with family and friends on the patio or a glass of wine and a book at sunset.”
