Tuesday (March 24th) saw some 1,120 entries, including 710 calves, go under the hammer at Kanturk Mart, according to Seamus O’Keeffe.
He noted that customers obeyed rules which were implemented to control the spread of Covid-19.
CALVES:
- HE bulls – €120 – €280;
- HE heifers – €80 – €240;
- AA bulls – €70 – €230;
- AA heifers – €60 – €195;
- FR bulls – €20 – €90.
DRY COWS:
- 1 FR – 710kgs – €800;
- 1 FR – 502kgs – €760;
- 1 FR – 630kgs – €720.
HEIFERS:
- 3 CH – 458kgs – €820;
- 6 AA – 487kgs – €820;
- 6 AA – 418kgs – €720;
- 3 LM – 353kgs – €765.
BULLOCKS:
- 7 FR – 528kgs – €905;
- 6 HE – 480kgs – €940;
