137ac farm for €1.85m ‘top of all savvy buyers’ lists’

Kildare farmland for sale for €1.85m

Joint selling agents, Dowling Property and Coonan Property, have described their newest listing in Baronstown West, Milltown, Curragh, Co. Kildare as “one of the finest, non-residential farms to be offered for sale in recent times”.

The property firms are putting the circa 137-acre holding under the hammer next month unless it is previously sold.

According to the firms, the property is in a “highly sought-after location” that is elevated and free draining. The property has “good” road frontage and “high” yielding land that is “well-maintained” across three divisions.

They revealed that the “magnificent farm, extending to c.137-acres, occupies some of the best quality and high yielding lands in County Kildare”.

They suggested that the property is “suitable for a number of uses” – including equine or a residence, subject to the necessary planning permission.

The lands are just c. 3km from the “world-famous” Curragh Plains. The lands, currently in tillage, have been “meticulously” maintained over the years.

The selling agents said:

“We firmly believe this parcel of land, in the heart of the bloodstock industry in Co. Kildare, must be top of all savvy buyers’ lists, as this opportunity simply cannot be missed.”

“The land is mainly free draining and high yielding and may be suitable to a number of buyers.”

“The land enjoys good road frontage and an elevated position and uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside.”

The property is around 3km from the Curragh, approximately 2km from Milltown, circa 7km from Newbridge, and Kildare Town is just c.7km away.

A short drive will bring you to the M7 interchange at the Curragh, with both Dublin City and airport around 50km away. Lastly, horse racing is close by in the Curragh, Naas and Punchestown.

The property firms have placed an AMV (Advised Minimum Value) of €1.8m on the lands.
