4-bed farmhouse with ‘details you won’t find in your average home’ for €180k

DNG Liam O’Grady’s listing in Ballinulty, a traditional country farmhouse on 0.5-acres, has “rustic charm and details you won’t find in your average home”.

The selling agent claims the property, which is in Ballinad, Monard, circa 10kms from Tipperary town, is “highly appealing,” and offers a “rare opportunity”.

The “picturesque” countryside surrounds it, offering an “idyllic and relaxed setting to enjoy the serenity of rural life”.

He said its current occupants have maintained the G BER-rated property “well”.

According to the selling agent, it has a range of outbuildings and sheds, one of which they converted to a “high enough standard” for use as a studio or office.

Commenting on the four-bedroom farmhouse, which he is seeking €180,000 for, he said:

“The house itself retains much of its original charm. It provides ample space with traditional features such as the original open fireplace in the dining area.”

“This would have been a critical feature in past times having been upgraded to a more efficient stove with stunning brickwork surround.”

“Also on the ground floor, you can find a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. There is a large and comfortable living room, a fully fitted kitchen, and pantry for storage.”

“Upstairs, a glorious open style landing area offers plenty of appeal, brightly lit, and leads onto three bedrooms and the upstairs bathroom,” he concluded.

Former dairy farm for sale

Furthermore, Savills is guiding a compact, former dairy farm for sale in Wexford at €950,000.

The firm will offer the holding at Coolatrindle, Kilmuckridge, for sale by public auction in December 2021.

It has described the 88-acre enterprise as an “excellent mixed arable and livestock farm and house”.

The selling agents said: “Coolatrindle is an excellent ring-fenced farm extending to approximately 88-acres in total.”

“It includes a range of farm buildings and an uninhabited residential property. The fields are of good workable size and layout and are uniform in quality.”

“Furthermore, a key feature is the useful internal hard track passing through the centre of the farm.”

Also, the ploughable land is presently in grass but can grow arable crops.

The agents cited the area’s “well developed agricultural infrastructure” as one of its key selling points.
