Farmers have been reminded to take proper precautions when handling livestock.
The appeal from the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) in the UK comes after a man was killed following a bull handling incident.
The accident occurred on a farm in Herefordshire on Saturday (August 8th).
West Mercia Police was called to the medical incident at approximately 2:30 pm; however, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A HSE spokesperson said: “Carrying out tasks on unrestrained cattle or with makeshift equipment dramatically increases the risk of injury from crushing, kicking, butting or goring.”
