A 64-year-old farmer has made an innovative face mask to protect himself during the current Covid-19 outbreak, according to Wexford People.
The idea sprung to Matty Behan’s mind while shopping, after he failed to locate a mask.
Speaking to Wexford People, he said: “I was walking around and just came upon them [bras] and the thought just struck me.”
He processed the transaction using a self-checkout counter. “I’ve gotten two masks for the price of one. The bra cost a tenner, so I got a mask for a fiver.”
Wexford People reports that when the farmer returned home, he modified the item of clothing; he cut off the straps and sewed elastic on both sides of the two bra cups.
He places his home-made mask in boiling eater each evening for us two days later, when he returns from north Wexford town.
