A “valuable” circa 7.2-acre roadside holding with a derelict farmhouse and farm buildings in Wexford is set for auction next month.

Quinn Property will host the online auction from its Carnew Office at 3 pm on August 11th, 2021.

According to the selling agent, the holding in Askinamoe, Ferns, Enniscorthy, is along the Ferns to Ballyroebuck road, just 3km from Ferns along a local road.

Ferns is along the N11 with a “good range” of shops and services and primary schools. Furthermore, it is 17km south of Gorey and 8km from Enniscorthy.

“The property is approached via a hardcore laneway leading to a single-story cottage and having two gates leading to the lands.”

“The farmhouse, which has been unoccupied for some time, is in need of extensive renovations. However, all services are present on site.”

“There is a shed and farmyard to the side of the dwelling comprising of a 4-bay, back-to-back lean-two, 120 ft x 60 ft.

“The land is of excellent quality, divided into three divisions and currently in grass. It is well fenced, has a water supply and is suitable for most agricultural purposes.”

25.5-acre roadside with derelict cottages and cattle pen for auction  

A circa 25.5-acre roadside holding with derelict cottages in Co Wexford is set for sale by public auction next month.

Quinn Property will offer the property in Moor, Killenagh, Gorey for sale in one or two lots by online auction.

According to the selling agent, the lands have good frontage onto the public road with three access points.

Lands are currently laid out in six divisions, all of which are in grass and of “good quality”.

The agent added that there are two derelict residences on the lands in need of “complete renovation”.

Services include mains water and electricity. Outbuildings include a cattle pen and crush.
