Hannah Smyth, the only surviving victim of a recent farm vehicle accident in Ballycastle, has recently undergone life-saving surgery.
The surgery was carried out in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Belfast.
A spokesperson for the parish of Ballintoy confirmed that the operation lasted over 7 hours and the young girl remains in a critical condition.
She will remain sedated in the Belfast hospital for a period of 48-72 hours.
