Ennis Mart – Cattle Prices – 29-11-2022

According to a spokesperson for Ennis Mart, just under 700 lots crossed the scales at its general cattle sale on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022.

The spokesperson reported that trade was “strong” in all rings, which saw “quite a number of quality stock which helped the trade”.

They remarked: “We had a clearance sale of 65 in-calf suckler cows due to calve in February and March next year and varying in age from 2014 to 2019.”

“Runner heifers sold to €720, and runner bulls made to €950. A dozen calves on offer, and these made to €540 for a Charolais bull, 6-weeks-old,” the spokesperson added.
