Bullocks
The average price achieved in this ring, which recorded a 100% clearance, was €1,123 with a top call of €1,170 for a 603 kg Limousin.
Bull weanlings
“We had 82% clearance of heifer weanlings with prices governed by quality.” the manager added.
- <300 kg – the average price was €593 with a maximum price of €755 for 270kg Charolais;
- 300-400kg – the average price was €810 with a maximum price of €900 for a 330 kg Aberdeen Angus;
- 400-500 kg – the average price achieved was €923 with a maximum price of €945 for 470 kg Aberdeen Angus.
Heifer weanlings
“We had a 100% clearance of heifer weanlings with prices governed by quality.”
- 300-400 kg – the average price achieved was €746 with a maximum price of €870 for a 390 kg Charolais.
Sheep
“A 100% clearance of lambs with prices steady. 90% clearance of ewes ranged in price from €78 to €137.00. Breeding sheep ranged in price from €130 to €162.” the manager added.
