Police and farmers brought a cow to safety after she wandered onto the M6 (motorway) in the UK.
According to the Central Motorway Police Group, the incident occurred on Tuesday, July 20th, after “idiots forced and left” a farmer’s gate open.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the CMPG, said:
“Unusual moooooovements on the M6 Doxey after idiots forced & left a farmer’s gate open leaving this young cow to wander eventually onto the motorway.”
“Corralled by our officers to behind this fence & then a joint force of @HighwaysWMIDS ourselves & local farmers ensured she was safely walked off the network and back home after an exciting night out.”
“Many thanks to the drivers held up as we shut the carriageway. Your patience as we deal with these and other incidents is greatly appreciated,” the spokesperson concluded.
Fly-tipping on dairy farm
Meanwhile, elsewhere across the waters, The Funky Farmer, also known as Richard Cornock, became a victim of fly-tipping earlier this month.
He took to YouTube to vent his frustration after one of his fields were targeted.
The 80-cow,145-acre farmer explained:
“My boys and I have had a lovely afternoon and got haircuts. When I got a haircut and a cake, I got a phone call to say that someone has just spotted this. I came back here to deal with. They probably saved themselves £100.”
“They even shut the gate. There is basically a whole kitchen. There is a hob, an oven, rubble, concentrate, air filters, tin cans, a roof and a syringe.”
“This is what some horrible people do. I am so angry. Can you believe what I have to deal with? Can you believe what someone has done?”
“To drive in a field and dump that. At least if they dumped it at the side of the road, the council would have dealt with it.”
“This really upset me because someone literally drove in here and did that in 30 seconds. It is going to take me hours to clear this away, and what am I going to do with it all [waste]?”
