The current Covid-19 outbreak resulted in a small entry at Baltinglass Mart’s sheep sale on Saturday (March 21st), according to Tom Coleman.
He noted that the global health pandemic also influenced prices.
45-50kg entries made between €130 and €137, while 40-45kg lots fetched from€112-€130 and 30-40kg climbed from €82 to €112; fat ewes peaked at €105.
