A disqualified driver is set for a day in court.
Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit observed a car turn back from a Covid-19 checkpoint on Friday evening (April 24th).
In a statement, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána Donegal said: “The car was stopped, and it transpired that the driver is disqualified, so they are not insured to drive.”
“The car was seized, and court proceedings will follow.” the spokesperson added.
