A 3-bedroom cottage on 23.8-acres of agricultural land with outbuildings is for sale in Lurgan, Kilkelly, County Mayo.

Sherry FitzGerald Hanley is handling the sale of the property, with an asking price of €140,000.

Commenting on the G-rated cottage, the selling agent, Gerard Hanley, said: “The house appears to be structurally sound but is in need of modernisation.”

“It holds an elevated position from the road on a large 1-acre mature wooded site. There is a 2-bay hay barn on the site with a large block-built garage and an original stone cottage with a new galvanised roof. There is great potential to restore the cottage to its former glory.”

The land is in front and behind the house, split into two divisions by a minor road.
