Cork Marts will host a special end of year machinery auction at Corrin Event Centre next week.

A range of tractors and farm machinery will come under the hammer at 6 pm on Thursday, December 9th, 2021.

Martin Lonergan, an auctioneer at Cork Marts, told That’s Farming:

“At present, we are offering clearance machinery from two vendors.”

“Some of the items for sale include a New Holland TL90 2002 four-wheel drive with a Tanco loader bought in 2008 from a main New Holland dealer and Ford 4600 with a loader among other items.”

“These include balers, bale trailers, grain trailers, gator, tractors, loaders, fertiliser spreaders, sprayers and cattle trailers.”

“Also entered is a very rare, fully restored Ford 5000 dual-power, two-speed PTO. The tractor is in immaculate condition and is surely one of the finest examples around of this very rare tractor.”

“A Dooley 24ft cattle trailers, Ifor Williams cattle boxes, square ballers and a wide variety of tractors are available.”

“The full catalogue will be available from Tuesday evening (December 7th, 2021) on the MartEye app. I expect a large entry with hopefully items to interest a wide buyer demographic. “

“We will stream the same via the Mart Eye app. Also, we will let 60 buyers into the sale ring on the night on a first-come, first-served basis of pre-registration.”

“We require buyers to produce a €200 deposit via the app. We will return this automatically to your bank account with 7 to 10 days of sale.”

“All purchases must be paid for by bank card, transfer, band draft or cash under the value €10,000.”

“Furthermore, online and real-time bidding worked very well with auction boards displaying the lots and price, along with the standard audio of an auction,” he concluded.
