Over 100ac of ‘outstanding quality’ lands with sheds guiding at €925k

Circa 103.51-acres of “outstanding, quality” lands are for sale in Farrancotter outside the medieval market town of Buttervant in north Cork.

Wilson Auctions is handling the sale of the property, which will come under the hammer by means of a live virtual public auction later this month.

The lands, which are in one large block, have an AMV of €925,000 as per the firm’s valuation.

According to the business, the lands are in several “manageable” divisions, bound by mature hedging.

A spokesperson for Wilson Auctions said: “The lands are of superb quality suitable for most types of farming.”

“There is the added benefit of a hardcore internal road running through the centre of the farm. Located off this is a yard containing a number of sheds.”

“At the rear of the farm, there is what remains of a limestone quarry which we understand is not in use currently.”

The lands are let in part of a lease, which will expire on the last day of the year.

The agent suggested that this provides an “ideal” opportunity for a one-off house subject to the necessary planning.

However, the lands are being sold as is and not subject to planning.
