A number of cattle were rescued from a river in Co. Cork on Sunday afternoon (March 2nd).
Multiple fire brigade crews were involved in the animal rescue operation.
In a post on social media, a spokesperson for Cork City Fire Brigade said: “Crews from headquarters and Ballincollig are currently in attendance at an animal rescue incident.”
“The incident involves some cattle stuck in the water on the riverbank. To date, crews have rescued a number of cattle.” the social media post concluded.
