Brendan Egan, mart manager, reported that bullocks and forward store heifers improved by €20-€30/head.
“The weanling trade continues to rise with extra farmer activity evident around the ring this week.”
“The dry cow trade remains very strong also with buyers active for both the stores and forward lots.”
“The calf ring recorded and excellent clearance while breeding stock are noticing improvement also,” Egan added.
