The PSNI has launched an investigation after a calf was killed by two “greyhound-type” dogs.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:30pm on Wednesday (April 29th), when dogs entered a property in the Carrigs Road area of Newcastle, Co Down.

In a statement, a spokesperson or Police Newry, Mourne & Down, said: “There were reportedly at least two males with these dogs, who made off across the fields.”
“If you know who owns these animals or the persons involved, please make contact with police on 101 and quote reference number 1612 of 29/04/20.” the spokesperson concluded.
