Tuesday, August 4th saw some forty calves pass through the ring at Kilkenny Mart, according to George Candler.
The mart’s auctioneer reported that another small entry met with a “buoyant” trade with a top call of €395 recorded.

- Continental bulls – €180-€370/head;
- Continental heifers – €80-€340/head;
- Aberdeen-Angus/Hereford bulls – €80-€395/head;
