The man, who sustained fatal injuries after he was attacked by a Friesian bull on Saturday evening (May 9th), has been named.
74-year-old John Reynolds was tending to cattle on his farm in Ballinhassig Co. Cork when the incident occurred, as reported by us here.
The emergency services were called to the farm; however, the well-known farmer was pronounced dead at the scene.
His remains were removed by ambulance to Cork University Hospital.
An Garda Síochána and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) are investigating the incident.
