Bonniconlon Valais Blacknose is a pedigree flock of the world-famous “cutest sheep” originating from the mountainous Valais region of Switzerland.
The flock was established in 2019 and is one of only a handful in the country.
The breed is very new to Ireland, and the Valais Blacknose Sheep Èire group is currently in the process of establishing a new breed society flock book for pedigree flocks to register their sheep with them.
ShowStock is “Ireland’s leading premier livestock catalogue”, working with some of the country’s largest and most successful breed societies to advertise their pedigree sales.
ShowStock provides sale previews in the weeks leading up to pedigree sales whereby each breeder has the opportunity to showcase photos and videos of their sale lots to a vast online and social media audience in advance of the sale.
This has proven to be a vital link between the breeder, their livestock and the purchaser during online sales throughout this pandemic period.
