‘The Swiss army knife of tool-carrying attachments’ for tractor owners

Tractor owners can now rack up their machine’s versatility with BigToolRack, the latest revolutionary American innovative attachment range.

Reesink Agriculture has expanded its tractor attachment range with two racks – the Ultimate Rack and Yard Rack.

Both provide what the company says is a solution to the “common frustrations” of a lack of cargo space and provide organised, secure storage for a compact or sub-compact tractor or utility vehicle in seconds.

In a nutshell, they say they are “the Swiss army knife of tool-carrying attachments”.

BigToolRack

BigToolRack is a brand born from the concept of a mock-up rack – a framework designed for holding or storing tools securely. You can attach through the three-point hitch to keep all tools to hand at all times.

Both products are the brainchild of Tim Descoteaux, founder of BigToolRack.

He desired to “get more” out of his tractor after countlessly trekking between sheds and where he worked, which led to the Ultimate Rack’s creation.

After years of R&D, he has fine-tuned a heavy-duty universal tool holder, which, he claims, aims to solve “all those frustrations”.

Key features:
  • Large cargo area;
  • Load capacity of 272kgs and tailgate capacity of 113kgs;
  • Provides space to securely attach tools out of the way of the cargo area;
  • No need to buy a ballast box separately; you can use the counterweight option when moving heavy loads with a loader instead;
  • A trailer hitch feature and telescopic wheel system convert the rack into a roll-away storage system to neatly store your tools in your shed, and just as easily retrieve and attach back to the tractor.
Yard Rack

The Yard Rack, meanwhile, is mobile storage for compact and sub-compact tractors, lawn tractors, zero-turn mowers, ATVs, and utility vehicles.

A company spokesperson said: “It is perfect for anyone with limited storage space and comes already assembled for additional convenience.”

“The main frame bar allows for a multitude of tools to hang securely while a dropdown hook can carry garden hoses, sprayers and more.”

“It sports a tow hitch bracket, tool holder and gear bag for even more versatility. It can dump loads by releasing the top cables. Meanwhile, strong buckles keep it firmly in place when traversing between sites.”

“Made of sturdy canvas material, it can be folded up when not in use and neatly stored away.”

Storage solutions

Steven Haynes, tractor sales manager at Reesink, said:

“These two unique attachments solve a common problem many professional and semi-professional gardeners, landscapers, farmers, equestrians, and estate managers have had for a long time.”

“They are all well-thought-out and designed to provide great storage solutions for anyone with a tractor, a ride-on mower or an ATV.”

“The products have proved successful in other markets, and we are sure will be well-received here with our customers too.”

Both the Ultimate Rack and the Yard Rack have a range of customisable add-ons, and you can use all-year-round.

Unlike tow-behind trailers or transport boxes, you can keep them out of the way. They will not become a hindrance by taking up space or being too heavy to manoeuvre.

Also, they have specific hooks and holes for each and every tool, meaning things do not end up mixed together.

They are easy to find, take out and put back again without the risk of falling off the rack or getting damaged.

Lastly, both products clip-on/clip-off and offer a warranty of 12 months against defects.
