Baltinglass Mart report – sheep sale – 13-03-2021
A smaller entry went under the hammer at Baltinglass Mart on Saturday, March 13th, 2021, according to Tom Coleman.
The mart manager reported a “super” trade for lambs and cast ewes.
Speaking following the weekly sheep sale, he said: “Lambing season in full swing so sheep not as plentiful. Prices were well maintained on last week and up €5/head for quality lambs.

A smaller entry went under the hammer at Baltinglass Mart on Saturday (March 6th, 2021), according to Tom Coleman.
The mart manager reported a full clearance at the weekly sheep sale.
Speaking following the sale, Coleman, said: “Prices improved by €3- €5 from last week. A top price of €162 was paid for nice quality butcher lambs.”
