Sales at Kilfenora Mart are suspended until further notice, according to a statement released by Clare Marts LTD this evening (Wednesday, March 18th).
A general cattle sale, with a winterage section, was scheduled to take place at the Clare-based venue this Saturday (March 21st).
The announcement was made by the farmer-owned co-operative, which has four centres in Ennis, Kilrush, Scariff and Kilfenora, as parts of measures to contain the spread of Covid-19.

Measures
In a statement last night, (Tuesday, March 17th), Clare Marts Limited said it is currently open for business but announced a “further tightening of protocols” in response to the Covid-19 outbreak.
