A 5-year-old, who was critically injured in a crash involving a tractor and quad bike, has returned home following three months in hospital.
Hannah Smyth’s mother, Clare, and sister, Bethany, were killed when their quad bike collided with a tractor in Ballycastle, Co. Antrim, as reported by us here.
5-year-old Hannah was airlifted to Royal Victoria Hospital where she underwent life-saving surgery, an operation which lasted over seven hours.
In a post on social media on June 1st, Magheragall Parish Church said: “Please continue to pray for Hannah Smyth (injured in the tractor accident last month).”
“She is still stable but has serious injuries that she has not recovered from.”
“Please pray for her healing and the healing of all her family, that they will feel God’s love surrounding them.

In a post on social media on August 14th, Steve Mitchell, said: “Amazing news- wee Hannah Smyth got home today.”
“Give God all the praise and glory for her miraculous recovery!! Please pray that she and her Daddy will adjust to their new life at home after 3 months in hospital.”
“The young tractor driver also needs our prayer. Thank you all so much for all your prayers. They really have been appreciated. God bless you all.” the post added.
