The young child, who died in a farm accident in Co. Roscommon on Sunday evening (April 5th) has been named.
5-year-old Conor Campbell, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim, sustained fatal injures when he fell from a trailer on his family farm.
Gardaí attended the scene of the incident near Tulsk, in Co. Roscommon, at approximately 5.40pm.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Roscommon University Hospital.
Immense loss
According to his death notice on RIP.ie, Conor (Joseph) is survived by his parents, Joseph and Emma, two brothers, grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins who are “all trying their best to comprehend this immense loss”.
