Gardaí are preparing an investigation file following a Covid-19 breach which will be “sent for direction”.
Gardaí on patrol stopped a car in Wilkinstown in Co. Meath; 26 drums of kerosene purchased in Armagh were discovered in the vehicle.
In a post on social media, a spokesperson for Meath Crime Prevention said: “This was not an essential journey as the driver and passenger live locally.”
“Both the kerosene and the vehicle were seized. Unless your journey is essential, please follow the government advice and stay at home.
