A teenager has been airlifted to hospital following a collision with a tractor.
The incident occurred in Studley, Calne, in the UK on Saturday (June 27th) at approximately 12pm.
In a statement on Saturday (June 27th), a police spokesperson said: “At approximately midday, a 17-year-old boy from Chippenham was riding a pushbike along the single track road at Hazeland from the direction of Studley towards Bremhill.
“As the cyclist negotiated a left-hand bend, he collided with a tractor travelling in the opposite direction.
“The cyclist was airlifted to Southmead Hospital with suspected head and shoulder injuries. The driver of the tractor was not injured.” the spokesperson concluded.
