12-robot farm in the US
Horsens Homestead Farms of Cecil, Wisconsin, made the switch to robotic dairying in December 2019.
The Horsens now milk approximately 720 cows with 12 Lely Astronaut A5 robotic milking systems and have two Lely Juno automatic feed pushers.
Since the transition to Lely automation, the Horsens have seen improvements in energy corrected milk, somatic cell count and more.
