‘Lightning’ weanling trade and stores ‘tougher’ in Tuam

According to Marion Devane, there was a “tougher” trade for store cattle at Tuam Mart on Monday, September 19th, 2022.

The mart manager commented that the mart’s Charolais weanling show and sale saw a “lightning trade throughout the evening with buyers from far and near”.

Devane reported that trade “soared” for weanlings, with bulls to €4.24/kg and heifers to €4.18/kg in this ring.
