‘Consistent’ trade with prices to €2,140 at Tuam

Tuam Mart – Cattle Prices – 05-09-2022

According to Marion Devane, Tuam Mart saw a  “consistent” trade for cattle on Monday, September 5th, 2022.

The mart manager reported that cull cows sold to €1,990, while bullocks hit €2,140 and heifers peaked at €1,710.

She explained that the average €/kg for both bullocks and heifers €2.55/kg. Meanwhile, weanling bulls soared to €1,410 and weanling heifers followed at €1,070.

Tuam Mart’s Annual Belgian Blue and Simmental Weanling Show and Sale saw a “sweet” selection of weanlings presented for sale.
