Roscommon Mart – Cattle Prices – 18-11-2022
According to a spokesperson for Roscommon Mart, there was a “very large” entry of stock on offer on Friday, November 18th, 2022.
They reported that a “strong” trade prevailed for all classes at its most recent sale.
At Friday’s sale, heifers hit €2,580, while dry cows soared to €1,880, while bullocks peaked at €1,400.
They commented:
“We had a smaller showing of bullocks which averaged from €2.52-€2.73/kg, while heifers fetched from an average of €2.64-€4.53/kg.”
“Dry cows made an average of €2.11-€2.57/kg. There was a good attendance of customers at the ringside with online bidders also active,” the spokesperson added.
