Roscommon Mart – Cattle Prices – 08-11-2022
According to a spokesperson for Roscommon Mart, a very good entry of top-quality weanlings” went under the hammer at its show and sale on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022.
The spokesperson reported that a “steady” trade prevailed for both bulls and heifers at its most recent sale.
They noted that “there was a very good attendance of customers ringside with online buyers also active”.
At Tuesday’s sale, bull weanlings changed hands from an average of €2.88/kg up to €4.20/kg, while weanling heifers pushed from an average of €3.07/kg up to €8.17/kg.

Roscommon Mart’s new manager
Roscommon Mart has appointed a new manager in the form of Tony Conry “following a competitive recruitment process”.
A 2019 business graduate of IIPMM Dublin, his most recent role saw him work as a regional sales manager with LoanITT since 2020.
He has previously completed stints with Kepak Athleague, Bank of Scotland, Ireland and Vendor Finance.
