Cull cows to €2,600 and bullocks to €2,320 at Roscommon

Roscommon Mart Report: Cattle Prices – 08-04-2022

According to Maura Quigley, manager of Roscommon Mart, there was a “brisk trade all round” at its cattle sale on Friday, April 8^th, 2022.

She reported that the sale attracted a “good entry of excellent quality stock” and saw “buyers active both at the ringside and online”.

In terms of trade, she outlined that bullocks went under the hammer from €2.82-€3.67/kg, while heifers changed from €2.34-€2.58/kg and dry cows fetched from €2.41-€3.39/kg.
